I was very happy to find Waggin’ Wilderness Pet Lodge. Kate and her staff treated my dog like their own. I was nervous at first because our dog is 14, deaf, almost blind, and has no teeth. But Kate showed me around their entire operation and I was immediately at ease. She sent me pictures and updates of him playing outside while we were away. On top of the care he received, the prices are extremely reasonable. I would most definitely recommend Waggin’ Wilderness Pet Lodge to anyone looking for a place to board their dogs.

I boarded my two dogs here over the Labor Day weekend in a junior suite which was the perfect size for them to have room to be comfortable. I loved that they got to be outside multiple times a day and that I received pictures/ video of them. Staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Both pups came home very happy! 5 stars!

Our senior rescue Banjo absolutely LOVES Waggin Wilderness, and we do too! Our Banjo Man came to us around 7-8 years old, in poor health, and clearly having lived through some not-so-good years before us. We have worked with trainers and vets to get him into much better shape, but he does tend to be fear reactive around new people. We of course explain this to everyone he encounters, and we are very selective about which vets and boarding facilities we use. Something we love about Waggin Wilderness is how well they care for our boy. They are Fear Free Certified -- which is a huge deal to us -- and take the safest, lowest stress measures possible when handling and working with dogs. Our dogs were so happy and well cared for while we were away. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were having fun and kept in the loop of how they were doing. Kate is so wonderful to work with making sure every detail is noted and she gave updates by text. I also love the fact she posts on Facebook so we can see the fun, too! Waggin’ Wilderness Lodge will always be our go to for dog boarding

This is my second time at wagging wilderness pet lodge. This time I was very disappointed, they brought my dogs blanket out soaked in urine to the point i told them to just throw it away ( my dog is potty trained and does not go inside especially in his bed, and I work 12 hour shifts). Second he had a tick on him which was very visible to the eye. When i spoke to the owner all she said was oh im sorry . My dog is 9 years old and has never had a tick; and we live in the woods.
