We adopted a puppy from this organization today and all I can say is it was such an awesome experience! Sheila and Shawna helped us through the paperwork and adoption process and it was seamless! This is truly a rescue that is passionate about what they do! We are so happy with this experience!

I would gladly give them a zero star rating but sadly, I can't. I will tell you why I'm NEVER going here and why this place should be shut down. 1. I found this place on pet finder because of a dog named Yugi and when I took a close look at her, she appeared to be dirty, she had a hole in her leg that looked infected and not treated, and she had big bump on the side of her face, which shows these poor puppies are not getting taken care of. 2. The owner is very rude to people replying to their reviews saying that basically he/she don't give a crap if the dogs are in poor condition and the messages are REALLY unprofessional. 3. The livings conditions of these puppies is really bad, firstly people say there's no A/C and judging by the looks of it, for a place as crappy as this, I'm not sur

We've now adopted three dogs from Waggin Tails. Sheila and Diana always answer fast and are very helpful. They want to make sure you're paired up with the right dog for you and your circumstances. Waggin Tails is completely volunteer run, so be sure to make an appointment to visit before you go to make sure someone will be there.

It was somewhat of a strange situation for us as well, however I'm so very grateful for the sanctuary! I've never worked with an all volunteer animal sanctuary, and perhaps it wasn't as convenient in location or planning as a typical adoption may be. All my correspondence was thru email w/Diana, and yes, it may not be the prompt "on command" service we are used to. Though once you realize these are volunteers, that receive animals that are just dumped off in an attempt to save them, I realize that they are saints and doing the best they can. We thought we we're seeing a 2-3 year old mix, but she had been there for a few years and was now 6. I almost didn't want our Sweet Peanut, but Sheila so nicely said something to the effect of please consider her still even with her age. We did indeed

I found this shelter on Petfinder.com and was drawn to one of the dogs I saw there. He'd been there for nine years! He's shy, but he walks nicely on a leash and is housebroken. He ignores my cats, so I consider him a win! Diane responded to my emails promptly, and Sheila the volunteer was there to meet me to help make introductions. The place is in the middle of nowhere, but you can tell that every effort is made to keep these animals safe and socialized. They do what they can with what they have. I'll definitely recommend them to others.
