I brought in an injured bird this morning, and the staff was so courteous and helpful. Thank you for what you do for animals by being a vital resource in this community.

My lovely wife and I were out in the yard trimming and cutting around and when I went to get a wheel barrel, I found an injured red shouldered hawk that had a broken wing and could not fly. We were able to catch him and place it inside a pet carrier. Took it to the Conservancy animal hospital and they gladly took it in for medical attention...very nice and professional staff. We highly recommend them for advice when we encounter injured wildlife. A great organization 👏

I found a newborn baby rabbit, Sofia, and took it to von Arx. Staff was excited to receive and very appreciative.

Wonderful life-saving wildlife hospital for any and all native animals that are injured or need immediate care (use your common sense on species, please don't try putting a bear or panther in your car). They've accepted a heron, baby opposums, baby rabbits, and a juvenile owl from our family. True heroes!

Although I'm sure they do amazing work with the rescued animals, as someone who has worked in rescue for 20 years, there should be a way for those who want to know the outcome to call in or in some way know the outcome. It's heartbreaking to find and drop off an injured animal but understandable that one would want to know If the animal was able to be rehabilitated. Consider allowing a Call 24 hours after drop off. Every wildlife rehab I have worked with has a way to get an update.
