VIP Petcare

This was our first experience with VIP Petcare and definitely won't be our last. While it's important to have an established relationship with a vet in case of serious illness, routine vaccinations were getting too spendy for us. A friend suggested I try VIP at our local Tractor Supply and it was a good experience. We arrived a bit early thinking we'd have to wait in a line, and learned we needed to pre-register. No problem I was assured, and was quickly walked through the process. Once registered, we simply waited in our car until a text called us in to the area of the TSC that was set up. Our dog is a small Shih Tzu that is very reactive, but everyone worked with us and he got his rabies vaccine, for nearly $100 less than the vet wanted to charge. We're happy with today's experie

The techs are great and friendly. I know that they do not control the website, but the site is deceiving to the customer for the influenza shot. The website shows it as an add on to packages as $25 individual as $51. It is a 2 shot vaccine. The second shot is 3 weeks after the first shot. The actual total for this one shot is $75+ per dog! No where do they explain this on the website nor do they explain it at the clinic itself. This is false advertising!! I went to the King William, Virginia clinic. ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE COSTS UPFRONT!!

I went to Pet Vet in Palymra VA. At the Tractor Supply on 2/4/24. I took my cat to get her nails clipped. Paid for rabies shot my cat really didn't need because she stays inside. I already stood in line for an hour. I pay 67.00 for shot and nail clipped. I get to my turn they close the van door then open and tell me they gave her the shot but couldn't trim her nails. I would get a refund. I haven't seen my money yet. Send me 20 percent off my next visit. WHy would I come back you couldn't trim a cats nails.

I've searched high and wide for affordable vaccinations in the DMV area, VIP Petcare is by the far the most accessible best bang-for-your-buck. The downside (given my location is in Downtown DC) are that the nearest locations are about 10 miles away. Granted we only need to make the trip about once a year. The other MAJOR downside is that they can cancel that same day and now you have to wait another week to see IF they'll be available next week. We've been waiting for 2 weeks now and now my dog is overdue for her vaccines. PLEASE DON'T CANCEL FOR THE 29TH

Horrible. An absolute nightmare. I brought my dog in for vaccines and forgot her shot records. The vet tech said it's fine, I can just forwards them via e-mail to customer service. I've done that and thus far they have refused multiple times to update my dog's information. The first time they told me that the 2nd shot had never been completed, when the date they listed as her "expiration date" was actually the date she received the second dose of the vaccine. I then forwarded them the remaining documents from the shelter where I adopted her at which time they told me they couldn't update them because the dog listed was for "an 8 year old dog named Elf" and their records showed that Layla (my dog) is 3. I responded that it is the same dog as her name was Elf prior to adoption and her estim
