From the moment we arrived every single staff member treated us and our sweet Dax with such kindness, compassion, and professionalism. They went above and beyond to make sure Dax received the very best care possible. The veterinarians took the time to explain every detail before doing anything .. from procedures to pricing .. so we always knew exactly what to expect. Their honesty and communication made such a difference during an incredibly stressful time for us. Our little Dot had a tough start at life with a 6/6 heart murmur and a fractured leg that healed wrong. When we came home one day from work she wasn’t using her keg at all abound we took her to Viking and found out the leg had fractured again and needed to come off. Because of her murmur surgery was going to be a bit difficult but they did it and she survived. They took the best care of my little angel baby. ❤️

1000/10 recommend. My dog fell ill and our normal vet was closed. After reading some reviews and seeing online that the ER fee was comparable to a normal vet checkup I took my dog to the Moscow pet ER. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the kindest and most compassionate receptionist who asked several questions to start the triage process. From there it was very similar to going to the human ER. A nurse immediately came out and performed triage, the wait wasn't terrible but there was another animal clearly more sick than mine that was seen first (totally understandable), we were then brought back to a room where the vet explained what she needed to do to diagnose the issue, she gave us a price break down of the high/low prior to any treatment and made sure we were comfortable

10 PM at night and Fergus ate a couple of my sleep aid tablets. I knew they contained Xylitol and that it could be fatal to dogs. We rushed him to Viking and even though they were extremely busy they treated him immediately. A couple of hours later he was cleared to go home. Everyone there was very professional and caring. Highly recommend if your pet needs emergency care.

I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about Viking Vet Hospital. About a month ago, my sweet Winnie decided a ball of yarn looked like dinner and had to have emergency stomach/intestinal surgery. The staff were extremely empathetic, honest, and informative. I felt like I understood what was going on at every step and what my options were and I never doubted for one second that she was in capable hands. She is doing so much better now!! Thank you!!
