I called VRCCE for help with travel documentation, and rather than tell me honestly they could not help with my specific airline’s requirements, they lied to me both over the phone and during the appointment. Several days later (after I had paid $220 for the appointment) they told me they couldn’t do the paperwork after all. To be clear, I don’t have a problem with them being unable to do the paperwork (well, technically … their reasoning is ridiculous but if they’d been upfront I would have simply gone elsewhere). The issue is their dishonesty, and frankly I was a little shocked because during the appointment they acted perfectly willing to help. They were also incredibly rude over the phone afterwards, but I guess that’s neither here nor there. I would not trust this place to give any

I have nothing but positive things to say about this practice. My cat, Minnie, started having seizures in the fall and as a new pet owner, I was very scared. VRCCE was able to see Minnie with little to no notice and referred me to PVSEC to have Minnie followed by a neurologist. Dr. Johnson made me feel very informed, and in control of Minnie’s treatment plan without pressure. Now, Minnie is 4 months seizure free! They also always have her prescription food in stock whenever I call. Thank you guys for all that you do, from the staff at the front desk to the veterinarians. You’re amazing!

My 11 year old husky has been going to rehab here for the past few months at the recommendation of our regular vet. Camille, his PT, is absolutely fantastic, professional, and has helped him continuously improve. I constantly get compliments on how good he moves for his age and even my friends have noticed the improvements! My husky gets so excited to go every week and loves the entire staff. Everyone always remembers us, is helpful and incredibly friendly. Cannot say enough good things about this practice!

The staff here is the best! Without fail, every person we interact with is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. They truly love animals and they always take time to make sure our timid dog feels comfortable. They have helped us with a myriad of things, both planned and unplanned, and I couldn’t be more grateful that we have them as a resource. I highly recommend the Vet and Rehab Center of Cape Elizabeth!

We have been clients of VRCCE for over 15 years. We have always had two Labradors of our own, along with occasional foster dogs. The entire practice is professional, highly skilled, and deeply compassionate. They have guided us through orthopedic challenges, congenital heart and kidney conditions, and the natural aging process with unwavering support. Whenever we’ve had to say goodbye to one of our beloved dogs, they made us feel as though they cared just as much as we did. We trust them implicitly with our four-legged family members. Having had at least two dogs for the past 55 years, I can confidently say I have never encountered a better veterinary team than Dr. Johnson, Dr. Morris, and the incredible staff at VRCCE.
