We have always had a positive experience with Vet to Pet from regular routine visits to an emergency in home visit to have our beloved fur baby put to sleep. They were so kind and compassionate with us and our dog throughout that experience. It’s hard to find a vet that you feel truly cares about all the animals that come through your doors but each and every animal I have brought to Dr. Carey and his staff has seem genuinely loved and cared for by them all. My husband and I appreciate all of you at Vet to Pet for your service over the years.
My dog was diagnosed with Diabetes in October 2025 (Columbus Ga), my former VET told me I needed to hospitalize him for several days to get it under control! My response was “ That’s not an option “! So I went with option 2 & contacted Dr. Phil Carey (referred by my former Vet) & I wish I had found him 13 years ago!! He spent over an hour explaining how to take care of our dog at home, showed us how to give him his insulin injections, & how to change his diet! Words can never express how grateful we are to him for teaching us how to care for our 14 year old “ Fur Baby “ at home- (14 days monitoring his glucose levels with a sensor on his side) and he emailed me throughout the process, checking on him & advising us on what to do based on the glucose readings! It’s an easy drive to Ellerslie
Dr. Carey and his staff are great! Highly recommend! My fur babies have their annual exam tomorrow that I will not be able to attend due to work purposes, but my boyfriend will be taking them for me. I know Dr. Carey and his staff will inform him of everything and will overall take care of our sweet girls!
Amazing customer service and Dr. Doherty is the best. We take both our dogs there and always receive the best care and treatment plan.
The most caring and professional staff ever for my pets care needs. My beautiful elderly Beagle got really sick fast… they took exceptional care of her, got her to a specialist in 24 hours and when nothing could be done… they prayed with us and took care of her to ensure a peaceful death. The veterinarian has a heartfelt bedside manner…
