⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough incredible things about this urgent care veterinary clinic. The entire staff was compassionate, attentive, and absolutely amazing during one of the scariest moments as a pet parent. Our corgi, Joey, had gotten into chocolate and was experiencing lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and tremors. While searching for emergency care, we chose this clinic. From the second we walked in, I felt safe and knew Joey was in the best hands possible. The open floor concept and keeping you with your pet through everything was exactly what I needed during such an anxious moment. It created a calm, reassuring environment, and I could truly feel the care and professionalism surrounding us. Joey was treated with so much respect and kindness, and every single staff member showed gen

I highly recommend. It’s an open concept but rooms if you need. You get to stay with your pet during treatment. If they are hospitalized you can stay overnight with them in the room or visit anytime you want. I had a very positive experience with every single staff member. They took such good care of my cat during his hospitalization and even took time to make sure I was okay. They called me in the evening and morning to give me updates.

I brought my bearded dragon in on a Sunday after she ingested a foil candy wrapper, and we are incredibly grateful for the care she received from the entire staff. Dr. Lance Day was outstanding. He spoke with me twice over the phone before we arrived, answered all of my questions, offered reassurance, and even provided a general cost estimate. What stood out to me most was although he doesn’t specialize in reptiles, he was very innovative and did some quick research and figured out what to do on the spot, saving my lizard. 🦎 He was very creative in his problem-solving. He created a tool using available equipment (tubes, tweezers, medical tape). He measured the x ray where it showed the roil wrapper and then put measurement marks in the tool, and although they didn’t have a scope camera s

My small dogs (6 and 25 lb) were attacked by a German Shepherd. I’ve never taken them to an ER before, so I didn’t know what to expect. Dr. Reinhart was patient, compassionate, and I could truly tell she cares about her patients and their outcomes. Josh is the only staff member’s name I remember because he initially triaged over the phone, but I wish I remembered the other ladies’ names as well. Every single person who had even the tiniest involvement in their care was stellar and clearly loves what they do. My husband and I both work in human medicine, previously in critical care, and we found ourselves drawing so many parallels with the level of care we witnessed. It gave us an even deeper appreciation for the challenges this team must face every day: navigating families’ intense emotio

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful the staff at VEG are. I had to bring my cat, Dobby, in for a urinary blockage. The doctors and technicians took the time to explain the unblocking procedure, made sure I was comfortable with the treatment plan, and reassured me that he was going to be ok. Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed and triaged. Every person we spoke with was so kind and comforting. They answered every question I had and made a terrifying situation a lot less scary. Dobby had to stay in the hospital for a couple days, but I received updates on his status via phone call and text every 8-12 hours. They made sure I knew I could call them or visit him at any time. Dobby is back home and doing amazing! If you live in the San Diego area and your pet has an emergency, I
