I can not say enough about VEG and the level of care they provide. And this is coming from someone who has lost two dogs in their care. The staff is incredible. They are compassionate and do everything in their power to save the animals entrusted to them. It is an open space so you are with your animal during their time of crisis and can see everything happening in real time. Recently we brought our dog who had a seizure and they revived her but unfortunately something was causing her liver to fail. They kept her overnight and gave us a room to be with her as their 24 hour care routine was administered. While we had hoped she might recover, the issue progressively worsened and we ultimately were forced to make the decision to end treatment. There was no pressure to keep going, just calm

As a dog mom, I can say with complete confidence that I 100% recommend this place, VEG. If you ever have an emergency with your pet, this is the place you should go. From the very first moment you arrive, the care is warm and professional: the receptionist, the nursing team, and the doctors all make you feel like you’re in good hands. I especially want to thank Dr. Kagan and the amazing nurse Manelyz, who were extremely professional, attentive, and committed at all times to our boy POLO. They always looked for the best solution to our dog’s problem, and thanks to them and God, everything turned out very well. I truly recommend them without hesitation. Here you’ll find quick answers, high-quality care, and above all, a compassionate team that understands the anxiety and worry we feel for

I had to return once again to Veterinary Emergency Group in Fort Lauderdale with my cat, Gris, and I feel it is very important to share this experience. This time we were cared for by Dr. Alexis Marti and nurse Raquel, and what touched my heart the most was their deeply human and compassionate approach. From the moment we arrived, their priority was immediately caring for my cat, making sure he was attended to and comfortable. There was no rush or pressure to pay before he received care, which is something that unfortunately is very common in emergency situations. Their kindness, empathy, and genuine concern made an incredibly stressful moment feel safe and supported. They treated Gris with so much love and treated us with respect and understanding. This hospital truly stands out for its h

There is no better place for your fur babies than VEG! We’ve made several visits and they are kind, knowledgeable, and caring. On our first visit we worked extensively with Dr Prieto who made us feel so much better about our KitKat’s health and gave us clear instructions and explanations. She always remembers us when we come in—As does nurse Nair- she’s so very kind and comforting with Kit - and us! If you find yourself needing emergency care for your pet go to VEG. They are simply the best!!

I honestly don’t have enough words to thank Dr. Kagan, Dr Marti and the incredible team- Mitch, Kat, Jamie and everyone else at VEG for saving my 13-year-old dog, Jack. If you are in an emergency, this is the only place in the area I would ever trust. Before we came to VEG, we sat at another ER for 2.5 hours only to be told Jack wasn’t 'critical enough' to be a priority and we had to continue to wait. I knew in my gut something was wrong, so we left and rushed straight to VEG. The second we walked into VEG, they saw him immediately, and I truly believe the attentive staff is the reason he’s still here today. Jack is a senior with a Grade 5 heart murmur and Addison’s Disease, and it turned out what he was experiencing was a life-threatening Addisonian crisis. His care is a delicate balanc
