VCA Pet Medical Center

It’s a corporate scam. Very nice and great staff BUT the fees this place requires are outrageous. They have a requirement that if they haven’t seen your pet in 6 months you have to pay a mandatory $140 to be seen plus anything additional. Obviously most pet owners do not go to the vet every 6 months, clearly a money making scheme. I was quoted at $220 just for anal gland expression with these fees, called around and Sky Canyon down the street charged me $46. Not coming back here or any VCA again. Go local if you can, this place is ran by corporate folks from far away.

I took my daughter to VCA Animal Hospital with her two newly adopted kittens. We decided to visit this veterinary clinic instead of our regular veterinarian because the VCA clinic is conveniently located near our home (our regular vet is over 30 minutes away, without traffic). As a bonus, VCA offered a free first exam for new patients. We were quoted about $457 for additional tests and supplements. We opted to do the fecal testing (we brought in specimens already collected) and feline leukemia tests only. We were told that the leukemia test would take about 10 minutes, and we would have the results of the fecal testing in the morning. They took the kittens, and we were told to wait in the reception area. My daughter left with her two young children while I waited, and waited, and wait

Took my daughter Mia in for eye irritation and everyone was very kind. I called first thing in the morning for a same day appointment and a couple spots were available, on a Saturday. My appointment time was honored and they listened to all my concerns. What I truly felt comfortable with was they didn’t try to shove down your throat unnecessary tests and exams. Throughly explained the treatment plan and different options. The pricing was reasonable. Will be coming here again when needed. Thank you!

Awesome staff! Everyone here is so friendly, being a new dog mom they answered all my questions without any trouble! I did not feel in anyway less of a dog owner! Definitely would recommend VCA to others.
