VCA Los Banos Animal Hospital

I don’t write reviews unless someone goes above and beyond. I had my little dachshund shaking uncontrollably this afternoon. We rushed to VCA we hadn’t been here in years. No reason just didn’t come this far away (30 min). Anyways, they asked my name and asked what the problem was I told them, they got us in a room right away and said we could do updating later. The vet came in right away, quizzed me all she could to try and see what we were dealing with. She made recommendations, we agreed, and we are taking our baby home tonight because of the wonderful care we received. Them basically dropping what they were doing to help me, meant the world to me. Thank you to the office staff, the vet techs and the vet. You guys are incredible. God bless you all!!

We had to put our dog Chloe of 12 yrs down a few weeks ago due to declining health issues. The month leading up to our tough decision the whole VCA staff were amazing. They were very helpful & very comforting. We received a beautiful card of comfort from them after. Thank you all for being so sweet to us & our fur babies for many years. We will continue to come to you.

If I could give zero stars, I would! I’ve used their services because unfortunately there isn’t enough veterinarians in Los Banos. I have 8 dogs and 1 cat. I left a message 2 weeks ago to have my dog, Faith, seen for a possible ear infection and no one returned my call. Fast forward to today that my mom attempted to make an appointment for her dog that has been coughing and wheezing for 24 hours, they wouldn’t give my mom an appointment for her dog (my elderly mother lives with me and her dog is under my name). Their reason behind their decision was because, “There was a problem with Jocelyn(me) and the doctor last time going back and forth. It was the way Jocelyn spoke to the doctor”. Just had my little guy neutered here and everything went so smoothly. This was our second time here and both experiences were great. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. Dr Mason is a compassionate provider and we feel so lucky to have someone like her in town. Jeanine was also very helpful each step of the way with accommodating our pup and his needs . The entire team was instrumental in making Donut’s appointment as easy as it could have been.

First experience with VCA & I wish I could give them more stars. I showed up in complete panic thinking I was going to lose my Frenchie but they immediately took my fur baby and started working on him as soon as I stepped inside. Once my dog was stable I was able to see him & they explained everything thoroughly. I was given estimates of the cost upfront & they provided me with an update of how he was doing while he was there. When I picked him up later that day he was doing so much better. They provided a full report of how my dog was doing & the medications they prescribed him. The team at VCA were not only extremely kind to my dog but to me as well, they are some amazing humans & I cannot thank them enough for saving my four legged bestfriend 🐾🫶
