VCA Klingele Animal Hospital

I brought my cat, Clyde, in for an emergency appointment yesterday afternoon and the staff were wonderful. He had an abscess that opened up. They got me in within the hour. They were kind, knowledgeable and gentle with Clyde. Compared to emergency vets in bigger cities their prices were very fair. I felt really safe leaving Clyde there for a few hours while he was getting care. Each staff member I interacted with was extremely kind and helpful. They gave me detailed follow up care for him and texted me today checking in on him. Overall just very impressed with this clinic and would recommend them to anyone.

Ignore the motto you hear on the phone. They say they will treat your pets like family but when I took my cat there after she hit her head and possibly broke her jaw. They wouldn’t even do X-rays because we couldn’t afford it. But hey who can afford a $1000+ X-ray out of pocket. They offer a credit card but you can’t even apply for it unless you’re on a computer because it will not work. It’s tragic this is the only animal hospital open on sundays. It was a waist of time. Because now I have to give up my cat. Everywhere is just money hungry at this point.

*edit* I was supposed to be given a five day course of antibiotics for my cat And I’m on day three And I’m out of medication. I didn’t even have a full dosage for day three. And they charged me for a full five day course of antibiotics.Sneaky on their charges. If I had a print out before I was charged I would have argued that I didn’t need to pay a fee for joining a club I didn’t ask to join. And I will never be returning with my cat, she had to use the litter box and they kept her in the back for thirty minutes filling prescriptions I probably could have got at Walmart.

They're the best. They are always so great with our dogs, and give them the best care. Whether it's been an emergency or a routine checkup, they're just awesome to work with and very communicative. The pic isn't from at the clinic, but is my two dogs resting easy after this morning's visit.

you guys were helpful with diagnosing my cat's thyroid issues because you were the only place that could get him in, but beyond that. the prices? utterly crazy. then again, that's what you get when you go with a vet owned by private equity i guess. we ended up getting his meds for cheaper at Western. lmaoo
