VCA Kickingbird Animal Hospital

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the staff at VCA Kickingbird. They consistently take the time to build trust with our pets before completing any procedures, which makes a meaningful difference in reducing their stress and anxiety during visits. This is the third veterinary office we have tried, and we have confidently decided to stay. We are especially grateful for Dr. McFarland and Dr. Schneider, and the entire team’s professionalism, compassion, and dedication to exceptional care.

This place offered a great exam on the first visit, which was great. The front desk Staff were very welcoming. The nurse was pleasantly nice as well. I asked if they could shave some mat off her tummy he just been neutered nearly a week ago. It was advised he checked out afterwards. They never stated whether it would be a charge for this service. He had harden ..... In the back end area. They never acknowledged the tummy area. Stated they could shave the booty part. Approximately 2 inches were shaved on one side! The charge was $32. I find this over priced for the service!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the entire staff at VCA Kickingbird. We have been going to them since we got our first pup in 2020 & we will continue to seek regular care for our fur-babies there because of the incredible service they’ve provided over the years. We had to put one of our dogs down 2 years ago unexpectedly and Dr. McFarland, Dr. Schneider & Dr. Harper, as well as all of the techs were incredibly empathetic, caring & patient with us throughout the entire process. We feel so lucky that our dogs (even our anxious one) look forward to going to the vet!

dr. schneider is the best vet i have ever had the pleasure of taking my animals to. she is attentive and thorough, kind and patient, and she helped me figure out my dog has protein allergies, which saved his life. she has been with him since the beginning and is great every time we see her. not only is she great with dogs, especially pitties, but she is absolutely amazing with my cats! i recommend her 100x. i would honestly trust her with my life. she gets down on the floor and stays there the entire appointment and my dog absolutely adores her. i am tearing up writing this because of how amazing she is. she always gets us the best price too!!

Our do had licked her paws to the point where they were swollen and she was limping, and on a Saturday as always. The staff here were friendly and kind, not long of a wait and Dr. Ashley was wonderful. We just moved to Edmond and took a chance on VCA since it was so convenient were able to get in the same day. Our visit was very affordable, and we will be back.
