VCA Hanson Animal Hospital

I gotta say for the most part i am very skeptical when it comes to vets an animal hospitals but my cat was experiencing some issues and I called around they were the only place to take him in the same day and we got the pleasure of working with dr lafort hoping im spelling the name right anyways she was so helpful wonderful sweet and kind. I recommend anyone who wants to go to a vet to go to the Hanson VCA. She was very knowledgeable patient and was very sweet to my cat. 5 stars all day !

Took my little girl here for her first check up since we got her on 4/29. The staff is really kind and Honey loved meeting everyone. I am grateful that Dr. Oscar and her team were able to put my nerves at ease and walk me through everything I needed to know to keep my baby healthy 🐶🖤

My leopard gecko, Tupperware, has been a patient of Dr. Kelley’s since he had an awful shed 4 months ago. I have always been able to get in for an appointment for an exam, bloodwork, X-rays, etc in an incredibly timely manner. When he was in really bad shape and I was calling around, most vets couldn’t see him for several weeks, but VCA Hanson got us in the next day! Dr. Kelley has been so patient; she explains everything to me, answers my anxious lizard parent questions, and treats my little guy like she absolutely adores him. Also, vet techs Sierra and Anick, who work with Dr. Kelley, have always been amazing— very supportive and reassuring and treat Tupp like he’s their own creature. Horrible service If you want to pay for services you have had your pet seen for in the past for this vet they will deny you prescription for your animal even though they prescribed in the past many times they will happily take your money see you then not give a script and try to get you to get another appointment within two weeks of your last for the same reason. My dog is now limping from an untreated ear infection and they still denied her medication and referred me to urgent care !!!!! Now I have to pay more money and find new vet

Great experience here as someone who switched from another nearby VCA. This one seems so new/renovated, clean and open. The staff are friendly, helpful and understanding. My girl had her first ever dental cleaning and I was so scared to have her put under. The team was so communicative and kind. Dr Jewett(?) was so calm and reassuring. I felt so good about trusting them! Her teeth are like new! I like it here and more importantly, I think my doggy does, too(-:
