VCA East Penn Animal Hospital

We absolutely love VCA East Penn! Dr. Mitchell is fantastic, and honestly, everyone on the team is wonderful. Our dogs have been cared for by nearly the whole staff over the past year since we moved here, and we've had great experiences every time. Rae is especially amazing with our deaf dog, Hopper - he always seems relaxed and happy when she’s there. And we really appreciate how much care and attention they give to our anxious girl, Meeko. They’re so gentle and understanding with her, and it makes a huge difference for all of us. 10/10 recommend.

The staff is always kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. Dr. Mitchell is truly the best! She is knowledgeable, patient, understanding and compassionate. It’s clear that she truly loves what she does and treats/cares for every animal like her own.

They pressured my wife and I into applying for their VCA “Care” Club. Our first visit for our two kittens and we are getting an outrageous charge, but woah they brought the price down to a lovely $150 ($75 for each) IF we signed up for their “care” club. Which was $150 a month, which by the way wasn’t worth a single penny. Charging us for every single med they needed. Shout out to front desk for being kind though.

We started coming to this clinic a few months ago after getting our puppy, and we were so happy with the care that we ended up transferring our cat here too. Dr. Mitchell has been absolutely incredible. She’s thoughtful, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to answer our many (many!) questions without ever making us feel rushed or silly. One of the biggest things for us when choosing a new vet was being allowed to stay with our pets during their visits, and this team totally gets that. They’ve always welcomed us to come back with our animals, which means a lot. Our cat doesn’t enjoy being handled, but I’m always shocked at how well she does with this team, they’re so gentle and patient with her. We needed a new vet clinic for our golden retriever after recently moving to the area. We saw Dr. Kaulius for preventative care. She was very thorough and you can tell she really cares about her patients and their health. Overall a great experience!
