VCA Durant Road Animal Hospital

My favorite boy Kingston and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Taylor at VCA Durant Animal Hospital today. Kingy is the sweetest boy once you get to know him but is a bit of an anxious /scared boy around new people/places. Vet visits are not his favorite thing but Dr. Taylor was patient and thorough and cared for Kingston like he was his own (he has 7 rescue dogs!) You can tell Dr. Taylor is very passionate about helping animals. He is also very knowledgeable and took time to answer all of my questions. All staff members were also great! I highly recommend VCA Durant hospital for your loved animals!

Cece has been grooming my family's dogs for years and we love her so much that we followed her to VCA. We also recently decided to switch to VCA for vet care and cannot express how amazing Dr. Taylor was with our dog. Our dog is super anxious, especially around new people, and Dr. Taylor was so kind and gentle with him. He even sat on the floor with him to make him feel more comfortable. The vet techs are very sweet as well. I never leave reviews but had to after our visits with Dr. Taylor and years of grooming with Cece!

Last week we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl Annie. Dr Sarah Trimarchi & Veterinary Assistant Sarah we’re beyond exceptional during an extremely difficult time for our family. They discussed all options with me and were very understanding of the financial and emotional constraints we were dealing with. Ultimately, the kindest thing was to put Annie to sleep and Dr. Sarah made the process as smooth as it could possibly be. She even helped with a discount for services because she knew we were tight on funds. I will take every pet I have in the future to this facility for as long as I live in this area. My baby has been going to VCA since she was 12 weeks. She is terrified of other humans and has to be slightly sedated at her visits. Dr. Musgraves along with the technicians, assistants, and front desk staff have been so amazing with her and she is now 3y old. I live over an hour away from Raleigh and my other dogs see a vet closer to my home but because VCA has been soooo amazing with my “quirky” girl, I make the drive and will continue to do so just for her. They know EXACTLY what to do to make her feel ok which is what makes me feel good. Thank you all at VCA for making my life easier by keeping Eggo healthy and safe during her visits. 🫶🏼

We had a great first experience. You can tell that the Vet and Vet Tech really enjoy animals, which I think is important when searching for the right Vet. I voiced my concerns with being on a tight budget, and they were happy to plan out a schedule of visits and costs based on highest necessity, which was so appreciated. Overall, I was happy with the visit and will return for other services.
