VCA Desert Dunes Animal Hospital

I had a general exam appointment for my cat today, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My cat doesn’t like vets, he gets stressed and scared, but never to the extent of today. I’ve taken him to three other vets before, he was scared but he was able to recover quickly when we got home. But today, he’s been scared of everything, every sound, wouldn’t let me near him or touch him. His mouth looks hurt and drooling. He’s a very gentle and very friendly senior cat. I feel like the people at this vet were definitely not dealing with him properly or professionally. I did not see it because they took him to the back to clean his ears. GARBAGE!!!! You need to stop bugging. I won't be back to this VCA or any VCA EVER!!! I had worries about my dog you looked at her for 2 minutes for 300 dollars and said she was fine no no not fine. GARBAGE!!! When someone has worries about their dog maybe validate it. Stop calling (blocked so no worries there) Stop sending mail.

Have been taking my cat here her life(17yrs). The treat her with such care and fully understand how much she means to me. Dr. Brockmeier and her team are just so amazing.

We moved here to Sun City PD from Las Vegas a few months ago and several new acquaintances recommended this practice. From the moment we called to schedule our three rescues' initial visits, we could feel the warmth. I brought one dog in today and had a great experience from the front desk to Heather's intake, and Dr. Brockmeyer and Amber's assessment. The office is clean and spacious too. Rosa who helped schedule our visits took down our notes about our 11 year old Annie's recent coughing or choking after eating and suggested the elevated food bowls to allow her to eat in a more relaxed way. We did that immediately and it made all the difference in her eating. The parking lot is big and we can make a turn on to Washington at the traffic light right there. We are already fans! Our Gibbs

First time coming here. I had called 5 different places and nobody wanted to see my 12 week little kittens and this was the ONLY place who were nice enough to accept us as new patients. Even though i didnt have an appointment i came as a walk in. I parked and called to let them know i was outside. They right away took my kittens in. Dr Connor was THE BEST! Talking to him on the phone was amazing. He was thorough and actually CARED! For everything vaccinations and examination for the two kittens was $400. I actually thought the prices were decent this also including two blood tests and two medications. Im definitely going to stay with them! Great Staff! Great doctor! Great care
