Lindsay was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Benny. She was sweet, playful, and made him feel comfortable right away. She took the time to play with him and give him treats, which made such a difference in helping him relax. She was also very informative and attentive. She listened to my concerns, understood my needs, and offered helpful suggestions. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. Our dog Molly had a ruptured ear drum and Dr. Halilovic took such good care of her! We are grateful he got her all the way better! We have also seen Dr. Halilovic when my cat had a foreign obstruction and could have died. I have been so thankful because each time he made the right calls. His judgement was spot on to do the best next steps for our pets. I have been going to VCA Cottonwood Animal Hospital for over a decade and I am so grateful for all the great care we have received over the years for our dogs and cats! The staff and Dr. Bowen have been exceptional in caring for my best friend and companion, Dingo. She has faced extremely complex medical challenges as a very elderly dog, and on more than one occasion, their care has quite literally saved her life. What I value most is the true collaboration—they take the time to talk things through with me, honestly assess her reality, and thoughtfully discuss various options and recommendations. Every time, we’ve arrived at a solution that prioritizes her quality of life. I am deeply grateful for the staff’s compassion, time, and attention, and for the partnership they bring to her care.

We were recommended to VCA Cottonwood by our vet for a perineal bilateral hernia repair for our dog along with a couple other locations. We called at least 10 animal hospitals begging for quotes so we could at least have an idea of what we would be paying and one of the few places that would give us a quote was VCA. Their quote was one of the best ones so we ended up booking a $6500 surgery with them to get it fixed. We brought our dog in for an initial consultation so they could be sure that the quote was accurate and there were not any other issues. Highly recommend. The exceptional Dr. Paul Belnap performed emergency pyometra surgery on New Year's Eve. Sasha was also diagnosed with a heart murmur which made this necessary procedure even more challenging. The little one stayed overnight in recovery monitored by a wonderful team of technicians, nurses, and assistants including Cassie, Kelly, Mitch, and Willow. In addition, Maxine was very helpful several days after the surgery with the antibiotics.
