My family recently adopted our first pupppy and received a complimentary first free appointment coupon from the shelter however I didn’t book the appointment within the time frame once I called they were so kind to inform me that all of their first appointments are complimentary which I was very happy to hear being our first dog I thought this is excellent this office is going to be our new home for our dog. Come time for the appointment and I was about 7 minutes late and was rudely informed that the appointment has been cancelled and that there is no grace period not even for 5 minutes. Please note that this also was never mentioned on the phone when making the appointment. I didn’t even want to explain why or see if there anything they can do because if this is how you treat your custom

I couldn't be more satisfied. VCA Burbank Animal Hospital is a clean, well cared for location, with animal comfort in mind. The office team is efficient and accommodating and answered my many questions, and the technicians were beyond attentive and concerned for my dog's obvious anxiety. A thorough and well conducted exam, with the refreshingly calm and informative Vet Nicole Coates DVM, left me feeling confident that VCA is the perfect place for my dog's care.

We visited VCA for our complimentary 1st time visit with our recently adopted dog on Friday, 7/18. The experience we had there was mediocre at best, but the real excitement happens after our visit. Per our complimentary visit, we were given a tablet of Simparica for flea and tick prevention. This was given with no instruction, no run down of side effects, just a simple, "Here you go, this is free with your visit today." When we got home, we decided to give him the tablet, as we are wanting to take him hiking and believed that this would be a good preventative measure. After giving him the tablet on Friday evening, we woke up to diarrhea all over the apartment from our house trained dog. We continued needing to take care of our dog all day long on Saturday, into the early morning of Sunday,

My 1 and a half year old puppy, Pudding, has been handled well here by Dr. Coates, who was very kind and caring, and my questions have been answered over text promptly. But there have been enough instances to prompt us needing a new regular vet. In Pudding’s first months as a puppy, I paid for fecal tests and worm medication that ended up not working because, due to some googling on my behalf, they had misdiagnosed his type of worms. They properly diagnosed him once I showed them some evidence, and charged me a huge amount for new medication, when it was their mistake in the first place, and the receptionist was not enthused to help me when I explained this.
