VCA Bal-Coeur Animal Hospital

My dog had started to grow old and I couldn’t drive him to the vet we were using for years. This animal hospital is right down the road from us; every time I called, they answered, they were prompt to get us in, always very thorough and friendly, all the way up until the end. Thank you for taking care of our pet with utmost care and thank you for supporting us in making our decision to say goodbye. You all are truly wonderful at this place. Thank you so much for everything you did for us

After being a loyal patient for years for 3 dogs, the money grab is over. My 1 year old dog was in for an ear infection/physicalexam/vaccinations on October 14th. We were given prescription ear drops. On December 13th, the other ear became infected so I called to get a refill. I was told we'd have to bring her in for another physical exam. This is a total money grab and disrespectful. There are many other vets in the area to choose from. It's too bad Bal Coeur has lost 2 young canine patients over ear drops.

I took my cat here because she was having trouble breathing and had what I assumed was a bad sprain (I watch WAY too many vet shows, lol) and was pleasantly surprised with their staff. I also have a dog with diabetes & have very little funds leftover for other vet bills in my budget. So, I came here because they had advertised a free first office visit/exam on their website. My cat had been acting extremely standoffish that day due to her pain, and the techs & doc both handled her so gingerly that she was like putty in their hands. She doesn't even do that for me! My kitty's heart was beating so fast, dangerously fast, that it was difficult for the vet to count the pulse but i think was around 250 bpm! She definitely sprained her shoulder thanks to this new Maine coon my family inherited

The staff is super down to earth! This location provides such a high quality of care and they have a lot of regular clients in the grooming and the vet hospital for a reason for sure.

Hobbes the cat has been a patient here for nine years since moving from Chicago. He gets top-notch care every time he visits. The vets, techs, and office staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and very nice.
