I went to VCA last night at midnight with a lot of fear about the condition of my cat. every single person there was kind, empathetic and supportive. The women at the front were gentle and kind and answered all my questions, the vet was very informative and I could tell she really cared about what was wrong with my cat. She answer my million questions very in depth and helped me understand what was going on. She spotted a few issues that I will now be able to address with my cats health going forward and helped make him comfortable as soon as she could. He is okay! and is now at home healing from the spine/tail pain he was experiencing. Even the man who came to take my cat to the vet was very kind and empathetic. I’ve been to cold vets office where I don’t feel like the staff really care

It has been nearly 3 months since we said goodbye to our beloved fur baby, Pepper, at VCA ASG. From the moment I brought him in to his last moments, he was taken care of with the level of care and compassion we absolutely needed. The supporting staff and Dr Andreou made all the difference in the world. We didn’t know it was Pepper’s last day when we brought him in, but we’re so thankful he was in their hands. We will never forget how gently he was taken care of in his last moments earth-side. They went above and beyond to explain next steps and ensure that we were able to get what we needed even when we thought it was too late. Thank you for everything ASG- we appreciate it more than you know.

Extremely attentive and communicative care. Before coming in, we called and were able to get advice directly from one of the vets on what we should do. After explaining the symptoms, they actually recommended we monitor for the night at home, which I really appreciated that they didn’t immediately encourage us to bring her in (which is usually the $$ hook with a lot of emergency vets). When our pup unfortunately progressed, we brought her in and were met with ample communication and clear next steps. Dr. Huang took nearly an hour with us to make sure he had a detailed health history and could connect the dots on our dog’s care. My boy Urson is being treated by internal medicine here. We are so grateful because we found out through their recommended testing/endoscopy that he has GI small cell lymphoma (cancer). The doctor immediately prescribed his oral chemotherapy when the biopsy results came back positive and we have been very pleased with the communication and how caring the team is. Dr. Rhonda Schulman is an expert and she takes the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. We’re very involved in his health and we appreciate the time the doctor takes to hear all our concerns regarding multivitamins and supplements in addition to his core treatment. VCA Animal Specialty Group has taken care of so many of my pets. I have had a special relationship with them for many years and I know that I can always trust them to care for my pets. Most recently my Great Dane puppy Charlie ate something she shouldn’t have and needed surgery. I’m so thankful for the surgical team and all those that cared for her. I’m forever grateful for how they helped Charlie and my family.
