VCA Adams Animal Hospital

I was a little leary reading the reviews for VCA to call but my son and I had to put our 17 year old cat down today. From the moment of first call everyone was so kind and compassionate. We were able to get in rather quickly and were greeted extremely nicely by reception staff...the assistant was very kind and caring also. The Dr. we had was the best! She examend our cat with such compassion and provided informed options. We agreed it was his time. They followed through with the process and didn't rush us at all. I think this place was great and didn't feel it was overpriced at all.

Went in today about 2:30 in the afternoon. The person at the front desk was, let’s say not very friendly. I went in to pick up the Flea and tick treatment For our border collie, the person asked if we had called in the prescription. I said no and they looked up our boys information. She then proceeded to say that we could not get the prescription because they had already given us a one year prescription for the medication. I called my partner to figure out what was going on the person at the front desk, spoke to my partner, and repeated the same things my partner, then explained that even though we had received the prescription and wanted to purchase it from chewy that it had not gone through. The Dr and Technicians are friendly and professional even when you have a cat from hell!

Treated me and cat like we are not even important enough to be treated thier definitely made me feel like thier too good to treat my cat canceled my appointment twice on me and then wouldnt even give me a chance to schedule another .. said im on the cancelation list.. very pretentious of that place im not even a stranger ive had a pet treated thier long ago and I guess they dont care at all I would not go here every again go to mount wachussett animal hospital ... thier mistake but I have to suffer for me seems like this is standard treatment from Adam's animal hospital .......

Nice people, seem caring. A bit overpriced. Paid $40 for my small dog to have nails clipped while there for medical issues..
