Vann's Ferry Animal Hospital

Came in last minute, my husband called the wrong vet the day prior, but they didn't skip a beat here, they were so kind an accommodating. After moving into town it can be hard to find a reasonably priced vet who also cares, and I felt like Van's ferry was a perfect match! I had my toddler daughter with me, and they brought her some crayons and a coloring page which kept her entertained for a while! They helped me get my dogs prior records, I just was so impressed with their kindness and willingness to help. Dr J was thorough and so kind, my toddler was losing it which can be so hard at a vet or doctors and he was so kind, didn't seem annoyed like I have had with vets in the past, just really thorough in explaining the treatment and what he thought may be causing issues for my dog! My little terrier mix passed just a few weeks ago and I can not tell you how much I appreciate the care and love they gave her. The staff is caring and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The doctor is beyond compassionate. I believe the care they gave her extended her life and her quality of life for an extra year for us to love her. Every step of the way the Vet explained her care and the different course of actions to care for her. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. J is very thorough, kind and very smart. You can see he truly loves animals. He’s taken really good care of my two girls; Fifi and Snuggles. The entire staff are wonderful, they know you when you call. Everyone is personable and caring. Thank you all for being great.

We adore Dr. J. He single handedly saved our Houdini’s life more than once, he has been an advocate for our cancer dog Zelda, and he is gentle and compassionate with our senior doggo Stubbs.
