We adopted the dog of our dreams from Van Hendrix K9 in December 2025. He is smart, affectionate, beautiful, and the most loving companion I could have imagined! People always remark upon meeting him how well behaved he is toward people and other dogs. So well trained (he is just over 1 years old) and the perfect match for our family. Working with Christina and Hagen has been wonderful. They are both very professional and knowledgeable. After researching for 3 months I found Van Hendrix K9 and adopted Jesse who was career changed. Jesse is shy but loving and is eager to learn. Christina and Hagen made certain our adoption process was seamless and they answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. We have been very happy working with this great group of people and highly recommend.

My husband and I adopted a one year old female golden retriever from Van Hendrix K9 and couldn’t be happier or more in love with our sweet girl. We worked with Christina who was wonderful throughout the entire vetting process. Most notable is her genuine love and concern … breeding, raising, and training physically and emotionally healthy dogs is her priority.

We adopted Abby, a year old golden who didn’t make it through service dog school from Van Hendrix K9 due to anxiety. She has been the best addition to our family. So sweet, great w kids, had some service school training and all around a great experience. I would def recommend!
