Brock and his team did an amazing job training our dog Bear! Bear before training was very timid and scared of everything, Brock did a great job of explaining his behaviors to us and then finding ways to correct anxious behavior and after 3 weeks of his board and train we feel like we have a completely new and improved dog! We rescued our dog, Gus, 3 months ago from the Humane Society. We soon learned that he is very excitive reactive and cries when he hears or sees any dog because he wants to play. He also did not have any leash manners and would pull so hard that my arms would hurt when I walked him. We first took Gus to Valley K9 for 5 days of day training and by the 5th day, he was not pulling on the leash anymore. Brock recommended that we get a prong collar for Gus and he showed me how to properly use it and even sent me a helpful youtube video. They feed your dogs their kibble as training rewards which is a great method as your dog gets to eat their meal while also learning a lot. Brock and his team, as well as his family, are amazing! Right from the consultation , it was clear that he genuinely cared about dogs. Brock listened to our concerns and what we wanted from or dog and did not disappoint. My dog gained so many new skills and has become more well-behaved and confident.
