A friend told us about Urgent Vet when our husky/cattle dog tried to take cactus out of her foot by using her teeth! Urgent Vet immediately took her in and made her feel comfortable despite high anxiety she has with vets! Our Vet Tech was very knowledgeable and immediately connected with our dog and the doctor was thorough and very compassionate. After sedating and removing 6 cactus spines, our dog is good as new! The doctor even gave us good recommendations to avoid the cactus spines for the future! I highly recommend this great emergency care option for your pets!!

They are reasonably priced as an urgent vet. Happy they were around when my dog got stung several times by bees and needed medical attention. It was fast and easy and would recommend it to anyone.

We brought our dog to UrgentVet in Oro Valley on Sunday because our regular vet was closed. We waited about an hour to be seen, which we understood given it was an urgent care setting. The veterinary technician who helped us was kind, patient, and pleasant — which we appreciated. After running tests, they diagnosed our dog with an ear infection. We were told he would need to be sedated in order to check whether his eardrum was intact, and that they would not prescribe medication without performing this procedure. The total visit was going to be close to $500. We decided we were not comfortable sedating him and chose instead to follow up with our regular veterinarian the next morning. Unfortunately, when we communicated this, the veterinarian became visibly upset. She told us “good luck”

I've had outstanding experiences at Urgent Vet in Oro Valley, including most recently when one of my dogs passed away. The facility is well equipped, organized and well run. The staff is kind and compassionate. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable. I also felt that I could trust their judgement. So often pet care diagnosis can be challenging. I was comfortable that their recommendations were well-informed and showed common sense. I never on any visit felt rushed. For me, this facility is worth the little extra drive when I have need of their services.
