Urgent Care at Swann Animal Clinic

We had a emergency with a puppy we had to come in pretty late at night . Stetson went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and that our puppy was to. Every time he came into the room he greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. We will not go to anyone else because of this visit. Thank you Stetson for going above and beyond for two people who have never had to deal with these issues. We are so thankful for you and your knowledge. Dr. Dodson also gave us great InfoMation we would have had no idea about. Told us her experience with our issue and made us feel better about the situation. She was kind and made us feel at home. Swann Vet has a money making racket and incompetent vets. The short story is that they charged me $333 for a deep nail trim. But what is worse is that they over medicated a 21 pound, 9-year old dog for a procedure that usually doesn't require sedation. They used Butorphanol which is 5X stronger than morphine and used for severe post operative pain and Deximedetomidine which has cardiovascular side effects. Sedation is always a risk. The long story is that on 9/26/25, I took my dog Zoey to Swann's urgent care because her toenail was at a 90-degree angle. She'd walk on it with some discomfort. We saw Dr. Dodson who told me two times that that normally the nail would just "pop off"; but since Zoey's nail was still firmly attached, I'd have to bring her in the next morning. We took our sweet baby in for what we thought was a minor ear issue, but it turned out to be a hematoma. The vet and tech were absolutely amazing. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, even drawing pictures to help us understand the procedure and our options. They truly went above and beyond, helping us find the best price possible and getting us scheduled quickly with a vet in Swann who had an opening for surgery right away. We’re so grateful for their compassion, transparency, and urgency in getting our old girl the care she needed.

Dr. Enevoldsen did a wonderful job with my Nöe. She was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). Dr. Enevoldsen did a wonderful job of explaining this to me, including the possibility that Nöe might not make it. She took wonderful care of Nöe and did her best to pull her through it, but the illness was just too much for Nöe and she passed away a few days later. She was so kind and understanding when she had to tell me of Nöe’s passing. I knew it was hard for her too and she had really tried her best to save her. The staff arranged for me to come and see Nöe after she passed away. It was good for me to have that time to say goodbye to her. They gave me a clay paw print of Nöe’s paw and sent a beautiful sympathy card. They did a great job working with Emerson Cremation Service

I had the best experience! After my dog had consumed something dangerous, it was a snowy day and our original vet clinic was closing early. Swann urgent care were quick to get us in and were so helpful! I was worried sick to lose our fur baby. The doctor and staff educated us on different treatment options to explore. They even checked in on us the next day after our visit. I am very thankful for there quick assistance and knowledge! I will definitely be back!
