Unmistaken Stars Farm Sanctuary and Dog Training

I brought my dog Luke to Andria at Unmistaken Stars to assist in his reactivity and aggressiveness. I met with Andria for several private sessions. Her knowledge about dogs behaviors and ability to read Luke's body language is unsurpassable. One example she explained to me that the way I was putting on his harness was making him uncomfortable. Andria was able provided me with the tools to make Luke feel more comfortable. We have also been working on Luke's being reactive towards other people, Andria has given me the tools to make both Luke and the other person feel more comfortable. Thru our training she suggested that I might want to look into if he had any food allergies as during training she noticed his belly was bright red. Andria at Unmistaken Stars is super! We took one private class with her and signed up for a 6-week series puppy class and definitely walked away with some important commands, basics, and behaviors to get our puppy on the right track. Andria's training techniques worked well for our little guy, Tanner. Andria is informative, patient, and provides clients with a wealth of information for the price. Andria is an amazing dog trainer! She's very kind and will help you with any concern your having. She takes the time with each puppy in the class, her individual attention to each family was appreciated by all in our class. Each week we were emailed homework along with educational videos. She was there for you throughout the whole puppy obedience classes. We will be continuing to bring our puppy Olivia to her next level of classes. I'm so happy we found such a caring trainer!!!!

Andria is truly gifted at understanding people, dogs, their relationships, and how to build trust and love. My nine-year old mix is both protective and highly in-tune with emotions. My daughter struggles with regulation, and our dog was reacting to her dysregulation by charging her and barking at her whenever she had a dysregulating feeling arise. Her methods are holistic and take into account not just the behaviors but all other factors contributing as well. Andria doesn’t stick with one rigid training plan, she pivots and adapts to meet you and your dog where you’re at that particular day. She’s incredibly patient and kind and just a pleasure to work with.
