My wife and I enrolled our puppy in the 6-week Master Program board-and-train at Unleashed K9 in Maple Grove, and overall, the experience was very positive and well worth the investment. We saw clear improvement in our dog’s obedience, redirection, and overall responsiveness. The training foundation they built is evident. Because we chose the longer program, the regular report cards were a nice touch and helped us stay connected throughout the process. Ken was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the program and remained available even after our dog came home. We can’t thank Kenneth and his team enough for what they did for Juno during her 3-week board and train. The transformation has been incredible. We took her to Scheels yesterday — it was extremely busy with tons of people and dogs everywhere — and Juno was an absolute dream. She ignored all the distractions, held her heel perfectly, and was probably the best-behaved dog in the entire store. We were honestly so impressed. It’s clear how much care, consistency, and expertise went into her training. Thank you again for giving us such a confident, well-mannered girl. We are beyond grateful!

5 Stars – (If I Could Give More, I Would!) I cannot say enough amazing things about Unleashed K9 of Minnesota and their 3-week board and train program. My 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd, Willie, went in with a long list of behavioral issues, and he came back a completely transformed dog — while still being the same loving, goofy boy we adore. Before training, Willie struggled with: • Constant leash pulling • Counter surfing • Poor recall • Not listening • Chasing our cat • Bad manners overall • General chaos energy To be honest, I felt overwhelmed and unsure if we’d ever get him where we wanted him to be. I have been taking my German Shepherd, Aria, to Unleashed K9 for onsite training for IGP/protection sports. Kenneth and the whole team are very knowledgeable, friendly, and great at explaining concepts. With just a few sessions I have already seen a huge improvement in Aria’s control and focus, and know what we need to work on in the future. I would highly recommend Unleashed K9 to anyone interested in dog sports, detection work, or having a very well-behaved pet.

Their trainer, Emilie, went above and beyond taking care of our pup and teaching her all of the skills we had discussed. She was prompt to update us on, Valkyrie, and helped alleviate any concerns we had going in. I would absolutely recommend brining your dogs here. During the take home training, Emilie, was very thorough and able to answer every question we had. Her feedback on how we continue her training was so valuable. She is able to see the skills and play styles that fit our pup and is a great guide for new and experienced dog owners.
