We adopted a shelter puppy, and ran into some issues that we knew we needed help with. Laura was wonderfully patient and informative. She helped us work out some confidence issues and some mannerisms, and really gave us the keys to teaching our sweet girl how to grow in our house. We've seen her come out of her shell in ways we weren't sure she would. Ultimately, the puppy is a puppy, but I really feel like Laura trained US well enough to train the dog. Absolutely would recommend her to anyone looking to start from scratch, she has so many tricks and treats up her sleeve!! We *hope* to not need a lot more training, but would 100% return to her if and when we do. She's a lovely person, and so knowledgeable in her field. If and when we need boarding, we know where we'd go!

We had a wonderful experience working with Laura in training our puppy. She is passionate about what she does in caring and training dogs humanely. Laura had our pup for 3 weeks; sent us daily updates (1-2 a day on his progress) and videos on his improvement/what they were working on. He was also training at times with one other puppy and got great socialization, which was a wonderful plus during the pandemic. But I really valued how much 1 on 1 attention he had throughout his stay and how he was apart of her family, rather than in a kennel when "not actively training". My sweet little Katey loved Laura when we went 14 years ago and my new Journey loves her as well.

I met Laura over thirteen years ago when she helped train our dog Ella from puppyhood into adulthood. Now, my husband and I bring our current dog, Mackie, to her, and she’s been invaluable in guiding his training—from basic manners and vet visit prep to nosework and agility. Laura’s expertise, patience, and genuine love for dogs shine through in everything she does. We couldn’t be more grateful for her, and Mackie absolutely adores his time with her.

I felt Laura doubted us from the beginning and made poor excuses as to why things were not up to 'her standards.' I appreciate her love for dogs and we did well with the training but she seemed power happy about who she deemed worthy of completing training and who didn't, eventhough she was happy to take the money. We stopped training with Laura after the issues and got behind with COIVD but the picture I posted is of a good girl that's now CGC approved through a different trainer.
