I’ve been taking my pets to Union Vet for nearly ten years — first with my cat, and now with my dog. The Union Vet team has always been great with my pets, and super compassionate and collaborative with me. They helped my cat through complicated illnesses and her end of life care, and now they’re helping my rescue pup become calm, confident, and comfortable at the vet. And as long as you’re taking your pet in for regular checkups, they’re incredibly willing to answer quick questions and provide advice about over-the-counter medications by email or phone. Union Veterinary Clinic is the best. Several years ago when my much-loved cat was aging, the staff were incredibly patient, compassionate, and gentle—they treated both of us with real kindness during a difficult time. Recently, I brought in a newly adopted cat, and the experience was just as wonderful. The staff were warm, welcoming, and seemed to share my excitement for my new family member. I feel lucky to have found a clinic that combines professionalism with genuine compassion and love of animals. Highly recommend.

We have been clients of Union Vet for five years; initially out of convenience, Union Vet was the practice closest to us, but we have remained clients now that we've moved to a different part of the city. We see Dr. Massre every time we're in! Their pricing is fair, easy to book, and I've never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. They have done everything for us from neutering, dental cleanings, and even referred us to a specialist within a critical timeline to get our dachshund the time-sensitive spinal surgery he needed after being diagnosed with IVDD: after having Dr. Massre assess him and adjust the medications that another emergency vet incorrectly put him on, he advised us to drive directly to the specialty hospital, where he was admitted quickly and had surgery less than a day la

The staff recognizes how much I care about my cat, Miles, and they care for him on the same level. He is a ginger and can be a troublemaker but they handle him in stride. Been with them for 12 years.

We love the entire team at Union Veterinary. We had moved a few times with our frenchie Mayonnaise but when we moved to Capitol Hill in 2018 we knew Union Vet would be her forever home. Everyone treated us with kindness and compassion - and with an aging frenchie you can imagine we visited A LOT. Dr Massre in particular is a wonderful veterinarian. He consistently went above and beyond for us and our girl - never rushing us, answering our questions and supporting our decisions. In a time when corporate vet clinics are popping up all over the city, Union Vet showed us time and again that an independent clinic feels like family. I could not more strongly recommend them.
