I’ve had dogs my entire life & Veterinarians. I switched to Dr. Hartman due to previous Vet not compassionate and overcharging. I am elated as well as my numerous “furry family” Dr. Hartman is straight forward, kind, and always has the well being of the dogs first. I would highly recommend him 💯 %.. I was really disappointed with this vet. The front desk was nice but the vet spent less than 10 minutes with my pet. He checked my pet out, put her back, and only examined more after I pressed with more questions. He manhandled my very very young animal with no regard for her comfort. He also asked if we had a stool sample that I was never asked to bring. He barely asked any questions and just generally seemed really disinterested in looking at my pet. I understand they’re busy with sick pets but that doesn’t mean my pet shouldn't get a proper exam that I scheduled weeks in advance and paid for.

Dr. Hartman and staff are wonderful! One of our cats has asthma and the other had to have surgery. They're both doing great!

Very fare prices! Very friendly and polite staff! Dr Hartman is Great! They take good care of your pet! Not all about the money type of people! Very great vet! Just couldn't say enough I'm so grateful for them. They really go above and beyond to squeeze me in when I have emergency!

Union St Vet is absolutely amazing! I would recommend Dr. Hartman and his team to anyone else in the area. My dog had to have surgery and everyone was so sweet, compassionate, caring and kind. They all went above and beyond my expectations. This was the very first time I’ve ever had to bring my dog or any animal of mine to the vet and they made the experience and every interaction absolutely wonderful.
