Underdog Animal Rescue and Rehab

This is sort of a long story but I really wanted to share my experience with Underdog Rescue and just how serendipitous and magical it was. A lot of strange things happened one week and by Friday my boyfriend and I found our solved driving through Moab. We happy to see there was some live music event and we went by to check it out. When we walked up to the small event we saw there was a dog rescue booth! I remember walking in and being immediately drawn to this one puppy. You guys had her name listed as Cranium. She was in a little pen with her brother, Tooth. I knew she was so special the second I saw her. Underdog rescue and rehab in Moab Utah is an amazing place with the most caring and loving employees and volunteers. After driving for 3 1/2 hours. with my current dog to meet Mocha now renamed Spirit, every effort was taken to ensure that the two dogs could meet and spend a little time together. Seena tried to make all of us as comfortable as he could, and gave me as much background on Spirit as he had. and stayed with me most of the time to try to walk the dogs together and let them play in a little yard together to ensure that they were going to be a reasonable fit. Cameron was also helpful with suggestions before we loaded up in the Jeep and got on the road together. What they are doing at Underdog rescue is amazing and helping as many dogs as they can. We brought Hazy home 3 days ago, and we couldn't be happier with the experience we had adopting from Underdog. The staff is kind and very willing to answer questions. From the application to the pick up process you can tell that they are committed to finding good homes for their pups. 10/10 would recommend working with them!

Amazing rescue. They know what they're doing and their dogs are well cared for. Wasn't sure exactly which dog would be the best fit for our family so I talked with the rescue staff and fosters about our home environment (we've got dogs, cats, fish, and kids), met several, and found the sweetest girl to add to our crew! Our whole family is is love. One of the most knowledgeable, streamlined, and open adoption and rescue experiences I've ever experienced (we've rescued all our pets and volunteer with local rescues). These dogs are sweet, resilient, and such fast learners.The rescue staff and volunteers are dedicated and knowledgeable. So worth the three state drive!

I'm excited to add Mable to the family! Underdog has a great mission and is really moving forward with full community support in how they rescue and find homes for these pups. I also foster for Underdog and believe that is a huge part of assisting in getting these wonderful dogs trained and adoption ready! Please be patient with the staff, they have a lot on their plates.
