I am the happy owner of two shepherds from Ultimate K9. These two dogs are without a doubt the best dogs I have ever owned - the most loving and loyal companions who get along wonderfully with family and friends. They are smart. When a stranger comes to the door, they turn on that world-class training and won't allow anyone get near the home without sounding the alarm. I sent my 7 month old Rottweiler to Patrick to be trained as my personal guard dog. Two of my other associates have sent German Shepards and I was beyond impressed and excited with his previous work with those dogs. Without hesitation I sent Zeus on his way up to Wisconsin to be properly trained to protect my estate, person, and be a friendly family dog. While Zeus was being trained I received videos, and messages regarding his training and progress he was making. When Zeus arrived back home i didn't hesitate to have him around friends and family including my young nieces and nephews. Patrick McDonnell is a rare breed! One of the most passionate and dedicated dog trainers out there. Phenomenal human being!!!!! No one does what he does, the level of attention to detail is unsurpassed. I purchased a protection trained Belgian Malinois from UltimateK9 around 8 years ago and it was the best decision I made. Living in Manhattan I was skeptical of whether or not it was a sensible idea to have a large dog in such a crowded city and small apartment. I have a brother and sister from Ultimate K9. We have had cars stolen and equipment from our barn frequently before getting Vento and Zeena! They have strong presence at gate and have kept all thieves away since having them. What’s really great is that the dogs are so stable my kids and grandkids can play and roughhouse with them in backyard or house and the dogs are gentle with them! I got Kiva my female German shepherd protection dog from Patrick one year ago. She is an amazing dog. I have had many dogs but Kiva is the ultimate that I have had. She is well trained, has a keen sense of people knowing who is who, Ie who is a friend/family and who is a threat. She is gentle and playful with my grandchildren. Plays with them and protects them. She goes with me to my ranch and is protective of me there warning me of pigs, coyotes, mountain lions that can be dangerous. Thank you Patrick, you've done a great job with Kiva.
