Best place to bring your fur family. Our Luna and Lucy loves it here that they start to whine (excited) when we turn to the drive way cause they know they will have a great stay. We highly recommend this place either for doggy day care, boarding, and even training. Thanks Colin for being awesome!

We leave our bird dogs with Colin at ultimate companion for more than a month and a half each year due to travel. Sometimes they need medication or other special attention and Colin always takes care of them perfectly. On long trips, he sends us pictures and updates as to how the dogs are doing. When we drop our dogs off at ultimate companion, we have total peace of mind.

Colin is so wonderful with dogs, I absolutely cannot recommend him enough! I have a nervous, skittish, goofy dog who lives with me in Texas and who needs a little extra attention as she doesn’t much like strangers or other dogs. I go up to SD/NE a few times a year for family things, and I always bring my pup with me and board her with Colin rather than go with any of the Texas boarders local to me. When I’ve boarded her elsewhere, she always comes back anxious, dirty and plainly unhappy; when she comes back from Ultimate Companion, she’s clean, happy and just excited to see me. With Colin, I know she has lots of room, plenty of playtime, and good, attentive care. It is 100% worth the drive out there (and for me, it’s 12 hours from Texas, not 12 minutes from Yankton!) Colin is great to work with. Our pups had never been kenneled before and did great with him. Beautiful, clean and warm kennels with lots of room to play outside. Most recently Colin helped us introduce a new pup - we had some concerns due to the size difference - an 80 lb. Boxer and the new pup is a 12 lb. pug! He gave us some good tips and things to watch for, and they are well on their way to being best friends!

I boarded my loved one with ultimate companion and was impressed with the professionalism and cleanliness of the facility. I feel that Colin went above and beyond what I would expect by providing extra attention to my anxious dog, sharing updates with me, and making the experience enjoyable for my pet.
