UFAR Animals Rescue

I volunteer at UFAR, and I honestly love it so much. The community there is caring, supportive, and full of people who truly want to make a difference for the animals. People sometimes talk about the smell, but they don’t realize how hard it is to control odors in a shelter that’s at max capacity with around 300 cats and plenty of dogs. The staff and volunteers work nonstop cleaning, feeding, and caring for every single animal, and with that many rescues in one place, it’s impossible for it to smell perfect all the time. What really matters is the love, effort, and dedication that goes into giving those animals a second chance. Being part of such a positive, hardworking environment makes volunteering there one of the best parts of my week, and I’m truly proud to be a part of it.

My boyfriend and I recently adopted our dog Daisy from here. It has been the best decision of our lives! She has brought our family joy and comfort. She is genuinely a shot of espresso. The adoption process was so smooth and you can tell the pets are really loved by the staff there.

I adopted my puppy 3 months ago. He was in an excellent health condition, and he was given to me fully vaccinated, microchiped and neutered. I hope people get conscious about pets and keep them in excellent condition as they are family members.

UFAR is such an amazing rescue. They are small and do so much for the unwanted or abused animals. They care so much for the animals and it is apparent when you go to meet an animal and they just want to be with their caretakers. I adopted an amazing little girl yesterday from UFAR and will be sending them photos of Athena as time passes.
