UCAPS (Union County Animal Protection Society)

Excellent people working with limited funds from the city and it's a shame they don't get the support they so desperately need. These people are warriors, giving love and care the the helpless.

I called this location on a Sunday at 7:15 in the morning thinking it was a business that has an actual business line but I'm guessing the owner answered the phone so rudely letting me know that this is her personal cell phone. And that the phone number was just for emergency one of them calling it 7:00 in the morning what do you think it's an emergency whenever contact this lady again rude as hell

I found a stray cat that was unbelievably sweet. I was unable to keep him due to my allergies and, it turned out, he needed surgery. I called UCAPS and they took this cat, gave him much needed medical care, and doted on him in the process. I am so grateful UCAPS is available to help any animal that is in need! Thank you to everyone at UCAPS.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've had okay experiences with donating thing, adopting, and leaving a stray but I've heard from others who have had interactions with them say they didn't like what they went through, or they had trouble with them. This review could be titled, "You might have an okay experience or one that leaves a bad taste in your mouth". I wouldn't interact with them too much if you can manage it because you're about as likely to have an okay experience as you are a crummy one... I'm glad they are here but I would be wary.
