PLEASE READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE CONSIDERING TAKING YOUR PETS HERE. If only zero stars were an option...I took my senior chihuahua in for a full blood panel before a dental, with no call back to go over it before surgery. Although, Dr. Strand didn't discuss my dog's bloodwork prior to the procedure, I unfortunately put my faith in her and went through with the procedure. She pulled out the majority of my dogs teeth; mind you my dog was all of 3 pounds, to tell me that she'd need to have a second surgery to pull the rest at an additional $1000! My dog had a drastic decline in her health the days after her surgery. I tried to follow up after my dog stopped eating and basically got the run around because Strand didn't make getting back to me a priority. Long story short, my poor dog ended up

DVM Strand is a great veterinarian. Office staff is very friendly and the Twain Harte Vet Hospital has been a fixture here in Twain Harte, California for over 15 years since I've lived here! I recommend them 100%

I had corrective eyelid surgery performed on my Chow in mid June.Unfortunately I experienced Cardiac Arrest at the end of June and was in a coma for 5days. I have a close bond with my boy Tiki and I was had a tough time going through bypass surgery and not seeing my boy. When I finally got back home Tiki’s eyes were not right and continued to weep profusely. Tiki was not a priority at the time as I continued my recovery. His license was coming up and he needed current vaccination.So, brought him back to THVH. After the vaccination Dr.Strand looked his eyes over and gave me a doz reasons why they might’ve not corrected but eventually she admitted the surgery was not a success and offered to do it again, for full price. I wanted to take my dog into this office, but they couldn't see me for over 2 months and wanted me to pay money up front just to get on the list. What a rip off!
