Triven/Sungold Kennel

I was honored to get a started dog from Wes Mangus, and wanted to take a minute to share my experience because it was that good. I drove 7 hours from Colorado to meet my little Oscar. He’s small, but has a huge heart and just wants BIRDS. I got to see him in the field, and was instantly sold. He fell asleep on my lap on the 7 hour drive home. My husky, chihuahua, three kids and wife all agreed - he’s a love. Instantly fit right in. The next day, we went to the river for a quick walk, easy bonding fun. By the end of the day I was ready to get him going. He loved the water! Four days after picking him up, we got on upland birds, at a hunting club. He pointed, retrieved them to my hand. Took my pup to him for obedience and upland bird training. He had her about a month and when I seen her again she was like a different dog. very well behaved and the way she hunts birds is phenomenal . if I could possibly rate higher than 5 stars I would. he is very reasonable on his prices and responds quickly. he's very good on reaching out on his own for updates and very flexible with his time.

We got our first started dog today from TS kennels. Wes took the time to go through each dog and set up flushes and retrieves for all the dogs we were considering. After a couple hours with all the dogs we finally picked one. Tough choice!!!….every dog he showed had great skills and greater potential. He would have spent the entire day with us. Great experience we’ll certainly go back.
