I have such trust and respect for this organization . The love and energy they put into the welfare of these dogs is undeniable. Thank you do much for both of my new pups. Leo and Archie. Wish I could adopt more from them.

Horrible service. I called to ask about a dog and she hung up on me and said we don’t take strays.

My family has adopted 4 dogs from here over the last 18 years and we always had a positive experience. Sadly we had to return a Australian shepherd mix to them after a year because a neighbor complained (their kids taunted the dog and he eventually jumped one). They were good to their word and carried for that dog at their facility to the end of his life! Years ago they even boarded our dogs briefly when had to leave town once. I have been to the facility in Iron Station several times over the years and they care for and treat the animals well. The money they charge for the more desirable dogs generate funds to care for the animals no one wants. This is a private organization, not tax supported like a county shelter. I highly recommend them based on my experience!

They are a wonderful organization that helps cats in need. They have helped me find homes for around 26 cats that I have picked up at my apartment complex. They’ve paid for any medications any of these cats have needed. I’ve had two particular cats they’ve helped that they spent a lot of time and money on. One cat was injured and they paid for his months of medications he needed on top of X-rays and dental check. Literally just yesterday they helped me and got my pregnant rescue kitty a c-section and saved her and her kittens lives. They are wonderful people and they care very much.

In reference to the reviewer who gave a bad review cause there wasn't room for a cat. These places work with volunteers and scrape by with minimal donations. Just because they are at their limit is no reason to indicate that aren't good. They are just stretched thin. Every shelter in our area is maxed out. These groups do the very best they can.
