Treasure Cove Pet shop

Just purchased my second snake from them and I am very pleased with my experience. I am very satisfied with the health and wellness of their animals. The staff are great, knowledgeable and professional, along with very friendly customer service, which is hard to find these days. I have recently and knowingly bought an extremely cantankerous Applegate Gophersnake from them. The staff made me fully aware of his temperament and also allowed me to handle the animal, getting a complete understanding of what I was purchasing. They were also very knowledgeable of the species, breed , morph, age, gender and diet. My first snake purchase experience from Treasure Cove, was just like this one and I couldn’t be happier. The black-haired woman at the counter didn’t greet me or acknowledge my presence. I was the only customer and remained totally ignored. What did greet me was a very loud-piercing alarm like a smoke detector. It went off and on during my entire look around. The store REEKED of rodent urine. Rather than sitting there idle, the employee could have been cleaning out rodent cages. So, I went there primarily to buy freshwater fish as I am a veteran of the hobby. The tanks were dimly lit making health evaluations difficult but most fish looked healthy enough to pass my inspection. The selection was extremely limited. Posted prices are reasonable but the overall experience was a mammoth disappointment. Again, the urine odor and alarm made it impossible to continue looking throught the store.

I actually adopted fancy mice from here & I couldn’t be happier! Girl at the front desk was the sweetest & so helpful. Really amazing seeing such tiny little animals cared for, & that goes with every other animal that’s also there too! Employees definitely take pride in taking care of them and I couldn’t speak any better about this place! I love it! Here’s Bagel & Tink 🥰 🐭

Awesome family owned pet store! Hedgehogs, Guinea pigs, Frogs, Turtles, many different cool lizards and Geckos, fish, rodents... everything you're looking for with an AMAZING knowledgeable staff! Highly recommend!!

Staff is always friendly & helpful, & pricing is reasonable. I come here to get feeders for my snake. Selection is always good. I will continue to come here. You have a great team.
