My senior dog has to be put down for reason I can’t afford the Woman Barbara went out of her way to comfort me to let me know the decision I’m making is the best decision for my dog she did everything possibly in her power to help me and I didn’t get that from nobody else every vet wants just so much money just to see her not even to work on her just to see her and this woman did everything to make sure me and my pet we’re at peace. She even went out of her way to help me find a place cheaper she went out of her way to give me her time to comfort me this place these people this woman are God sent and I’ve never thought I would ever have anybody have that much compassion you are amazing Barbara and thank you. I had sent an inquiry about a dog listed on Petfinder. I called the next day to follow up. The woman who answered was miserable. She didn’t even say the name of the rescue or who she was when she picked up, just a “Hello,” as if I was bothering her. We really were interested in a dog there but after this and doing some research on this place, we will be going elsewhere.

They have been very helpful in the process of rescuing a dog. I've gone to visit him multiple times since he is very skittish and they have been extremely accommodating with the visits. I've gone to a few shelters/rescues around my area and Trailways to Heaven is honestly the best one I've gone to so far. All the animals are in good health, the owners are really nice people, and I would highly recommend anyone that's looking to rescue an animal to go check them out!

Do not recommend. Too many cats some didn't look well when I was there not very clean and smells bad inside the home. Decided to find a home for the kitten I was going to give them on my own.

The entire place is very messy and smelly. You can tell walking in that most the cats had eye problems. When we got our cat, she had tape worms, scabby patches on her back, and ear mites. Also, they told us they would send us her documents in the mail. We didn't get them. Even after trying to contact them, we still have not received any paperwork. If you want a $10 cat, you're good. Just be wary of everything else.
