Tracy Animal Shelter

We had a wonderful experience adopting our kitten from this shelter. The staff was incredibly accommodating and supportive, especially with our foster-to-adopt situation due to our kitten’s young age. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, patient, and genuinely caring. They took the time to answer our questions and made the entire process smooth and reassuring. It’s clear they truly care about the animals and the families adopting them. We’re so grateful and highly recommend this shelter to anyone looking to adopt.

Working with Joann at Tracy office. I appreciate her patience, professional manner, assistance and information in serious situation of trapping ferral cats, delivering to shelter for spaying. I was able to catch 4 cats in 10 days.. As explained by Joann, after spaying the cats were returned to original site. True. She is a great representative of the City of Tracy. Everyone in the office does a great job in caring for the animals...the program for spaying works.

I have nothing but good things to say about Tracy animal shelter . The staff is always so nice and have taken good care of my dog whenever he was there. The facility is nice and clean .unlike Stockton animal shelter which smells of cat and dog urine and the staff is rude

We have the most caring efficient officers here in Tracy. They are always there for our homeless and or lost animals. It is a comfort to us volunteers 🙂 working alongside them for the trap neuter and release feral cat program also.
