We were camped nearby and had an issue with our surge protector. We went into Tractor Supply and were greeted right away by Nathan. He personally took us to the area of the store with RV supplies and helped us with the products there. He was so very friendly and helpful, a great example of what customer service should be about. He is a great asset to the store.

Went in to pick up dog vaccines and the person that helped me was so snotty to me when she checked me out. There was a service dog behind the counter and my only comment was oh you got a dog too. She got really snotty saying he was a service animal and he's not for petting. Never even asked to pet the dog. She acted like I was going to jump over the counter to touch her dog. If you're going to act like that in customer service maybe you should take yourself and your service animal elsewhere and find a different job where you're not rude to your customers. Very unpleasant experience.

This is a great small town farm and ranch supply store. The staff are very knowledgeable. I have never walked in without a personal greeting from the desk staff. If they don't have it they will find it for you. Store can easily feel a little crowded since they got so much in there.

The store in Boone, IA is advertising a sell. That's all good. What's not good is bait and switch. I looked for the sell items and the cat food I wanted had a sticker saying it was on sell half price. When I got to the register the said it was a mistake. This sell has been going on all week. I was in two days ago and the cat food was on sell then but when I came in today it was a mistake. That's false advertising. I won't be back to a store that doesn't honor their sell items.
