Towne & Country Veterinary Hospital

This place is so cold and callous it is way beyond disgusting!!! We have gone to this place for approximately 30 years and the quality of care has gone drastically downhill recently. We have poured thousands of dollars in the care of our pets and we have had 1 of them having to be euthanized from a crappy diagnosis (he went in with a little discomfort to coming out having trouble breathing and suffering). Then we bring another one in with a slight panceatitus problem only to leave him so sedated he wouldn't eat, drink or show signs of quality of life. Between the 2 animals, we paid $1400 and look at the results of it! My wife was beside herself not knowing what to do, crying. She posted on social media about how frustrated she is with the vets just throwing drugs at him with NO FOLL

So far so good! I just started taking my cat here but from what I can tell they're organized, kind, and I don't find them to be too expensive. I haven't had to use it yet but they offer emergency services for your animals as well.

They got me in, even though there was a mishap. My Mom scheduled an appointment for the 29th for my cat, by moving the appointment for the dogs we have to a later date. It got confused, and the appointment was mistakenly cancelled. when i arrived for the appointment, they had nothing for me, and they still figured out a way to squeeze me in. These folks literally turned a day ruiner around, and i appreciate them so much for that.

4/2025 We have a 6 year old cat that lost weight due to not eating and was eating her hair. We have not been to a vet so we got some recommendations. I made an appointment that was unfortunately 2 weeks a way but was told to call each morning to see if there were cancelations. We were there on Friday. The vet was AWESOME with our kitty. He put her on some meds to get rid of hairballs and fleas and made a very good kittypal! We were back with our 11 year old dog. We had to take her in because we thought she fell and got hurt. We weren't sure if she couldn't see us or if she was in pain. We called on Monday, they had us bring her in then. Chiweenie with lymes disease and arthritis. They put her on meds and She is doing great now .

We waited in their office for 30 minutes pass our appointment, decided to leave. They wouldn’t refund us, because they said we missed an appointment, cause we had 2 dogs with us and we missed the second appointment even though they missed the first appointment. Sad that you take people money like that, when you were in the wrong. Don’t waste your time going there. Go to lake road vet, where they don’t see money as you walk in the door and they actually perform services then charge.
