I have been there many times. They were so compassionate when I had to put my Babydoll down. I really had a hard time and they were kind and patient. Penni goes and likes them. She has allergies so she visits quite a bit. Geebe was there Wednesday to have her nails clipped. They are very good with her.

Wow! My adult children who moved 11 hours away swear there’s no one near as good as Dr Pete & his staff even in much bigger cities. He is brilliant, cares about our pets and us and never over charges or upsells. He’s one of the few left who hasn’t been bought out by the heartless big box vets (who seem to charge more and deliver less). Ty Dr. Pete❣️ Lafayette is so lucky to have you!

These people are great. We live in Arizona but are working in Louisiana. We noticed that our yorkie was broke out in hives and they got her in that day. They were so great with her and it was very inexpensive as well.

Edited 2/13/25 - Duke had to have surgery to clean out an infected sinus and remove 4 teeth (he's 18). Dr Pete and staff did a great job. He has more energy now, his sense of smell has returned, his breath is no longer a lethal weapon, and the facial abscess is gone. You can trust your fur-baby to these wonderful animal lovers. Caring, friendly staff. Great place for pet care, boarding, etc

Dr. Pete is an amazing vet who takes great care of both of our pups. He always recommends the best for them without going over the top with unnecessary procedures or treatments. We switched to him last year and are so glad we did!
