Top of the Hill Kennels

I unfortunately never looked at the reviews before I left my dog, but I had a similar issue with muscle loss after leaving my dog with the kennel for 7 days. She is a 2yr old Cirneco, which are slim active/muscular dogs that need to exercise regularly. I was happy to see on the website "Time outside of these hours is spent caring for our boarders." Hours of operation are 6:30am to 5:30pm This is actually not the case because no one is there after their noted work hours. All staff leave which is why you are not able to pick up after 5:30pm. Which means the dogs are left alone for 13hrs in the evening. I was running 30min late from my flight in Montreal. Very clean kennel with super friendly staff and owner. My dogs have gone there in the past and always came back tired and safe. We also had them install the underground fence and they were fast, professional, and thorough in making sure everything was going well with the training. Now we don’t need to worry about our dogs leaving the yard. Love top of the hill and the services they offer!

We cannot recommend TOTH kennels highly enough! Our dogs are treated like family at this fine, friendly, and well-run establishment. TOTH does it all - full grooming, boarding, daycare, and 24/7/365! We can travel without worrying about our dogs which is a rare luxury. In fact, they’re having vacations of their own right here in Highgate. 10/10 recommend.

On vacation and needed a place to drop off our dogs for the day. They were very easy to work with and took good care of them. Facility was nice and everything was clean. We thought their prices were reasonable. We will definitely use them again if we have a need when we are in the area.

Our dog Ramsey loves going here.. He gets so excited. The staff is all very friendly and attentive. Mark , the owner is a great guy to deal with and runs a very professional no nonsense business. We also utilize the grooming services. All have been top notch! Highly recommend this kennel for daycare , boarding, and grooming.
