Top Dog Kennels

Tina and Tom were able to accommodate my urgent, unexpected need for daycare for Gunner a few months ago. He has been going at least two times per week since. Gunner is excited to arrive and hesitant to leave to go home. Tina and Tom are great to work with and Gunner is a much more confident pup since he started going to Top Dog. I would highly recommend.

We have never kenneled our GSP before. He is 10 years old and Tom, Tina and Terri were just wonderful with him. We were on Isle Royale and we were not able to get off the island due to weather. So we had to stay an extra night. The team at Top Dog were the best. They took care of all Jackson's needs. When we went to pick him up I thought he would be so happy to see us. He was, but he kept going over to Tom which just warmed our hearts. If there were more stars to give we would!!

I had my dog kenneled here for 3 nights in spring of 2025. The kennels were very clean, the vaccination records easy to submit, and the kennels and outside areas looked safe. When I dropped my dog off though, I felt rushed, was not allowed to get my dog settled, and was barely able to say goodbye to her, which stressed both of us out. I mentioned in person and on paper that I would really appreciate updates, and got a quick reply and great update when I asked for one the next morning. As for exercise, I can't say anything good or bad, because I wasn't really given any information about it. I also said 3 times, online, in person, and on paper instructions that my dog eats 1.5 cup meals, but she was clearly only fed 1 cup meals by the amount of extra food left, and she did not skip any meals

Very pleased with Top Dog Kennels. Tom and Tina took great care of our German Shepherd and even replied with text messages to let us know how he was doing during his stay. The kennel was very clean. I also liked the option of taking him for a walk. I would highly recommend this kennel for boarding your dog.

Had our dogs stay two nights while we were camping in Houghton. The kennel and play yard were clean. Our dogs (boxer and pit) seemed to be well cared for. Would definitely use them again.
