Dr. Roundy and staff took great care of my Brittany Spaniel! Lynette at the front desk is so efficient and welcoming! She explained what to expect and cost, so there were no surprises. She had a full waiting room, but managed to make me feel like the only patient there. The office is clean and organized. I felt at ease leaving my puppy in the best care.

I really don't ever leave reviews, but I am pretty upset after finding out that Roundy will not use a sedative when putting your animal down unless "needed" (if the animal is freaking out). We had to put down my childhood cat last week and we called here and countryside. Roundy has always been extremely rough with our cat when my mom has brought her in. Yeah she was stressed but all animals are at the vet, he just has no care in not hurting them. Anyways, I told my mom I absolutely do not want Roundy to be the one to put my cat down, so we took her to countryside. They were extremely gentle and they used a sedative before injecting the euthanasia. After the fact my mom said she was surprised they used an anesthetic because they didn't do that at Roundys. Dr Roundy is the best! His staff is friendly as well. He took his time to explain things to me and made sure I knew how to do the homecare required for my goats eventhough our appointment ended after hours. He tells it how it is, no nonsense. I appreciate that. I drive from Saratoga Springs to see him for our farm animals.

I have horses, dogs and cats. He’s been my vet for 20 years. He’s up front and honest and more than fair on his prices. He’s always been there for me.

My newly adopted dog went in for a anesthetic dental cleaning which was never done, although the rescue paid for the dental. The reason I know the dental was not done is she hurt her paw and I took her to my vet less than 5 weeks after her appointment with dr roundy. I wanted to get her scheduled for a non anesthetic dental in March next year. My vet looked at her mouth and said her teeth were very bad and gave my a quote. She had the dental last week and she had to have 11 teeth extracted and was in surgery 3 hours. Inexcusable !
