A recent experience with a Betta fish has left me deeply disappointed. Before purchasing the fish, I explicitly asked the owner if he was healthy, as he looked lethargic. She assured me he was just "bored" and would perk up at home. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. For over a week, the fish stayed at the bottom of the tank and refused to eat, despite my setup having a heater, toys, and clear water. When I returned to the store, they tested the water and it was fine. I then brought the fish back for them to monitor for a few days. They told me they treated him with Bettafix and that he was eating, but when I got him back, the behavior continued: he sank to the bottom and didn't eat for another 4 days. I had a lovely time walking through the store. There is a wide variety of fish, ranging from the common neon tetra, all the way to some specialty discus. They have lots of tank selections; some are very unique. Like a tall hexagonal 10 gallon tank, which I’ve never seen before. There are also a variety of hardscapes, plants, and even some frogs. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable, and highly recommend swinging by to say hello. Thank you.

Cute store , they have a great selection of fish and some turtles , frogs and other animals . The lady was really nice .

The staff is highly knowledgeable and helpful; as an inexperienced customer, they covered all I needed to know. The prices are reasonable, the tanks are clean, and the fish are in good health. They also carry an excellent assortment of materials and plants. Unquestionably one of LA's greatest neighborhood fish store. This is my fish tank now after all their help!
